March release notes

2nd April 2026

Features

This months new features mainly relate to integration and are behind either a feature toggle, tenant configuration, or require implementation by a customer’s integration team. These are in the process of being communicated & rolled out where required.

OPCS-4.11 code support

OPCS version 4.11 took effect on April 1st 2026. Our platform now holds these codes alongside v10, and we are working with customers to switch them over.

ADT A03 support for integrated patient discharging

A03 messages are now accepted for completed assessments, indicating the patient has had their procedure and has been discharged. This triggers the assessment to be archived, after which it will appear in the “Archive” folder.

ADT A31 support for updating patient details

Similar to A08 messages, we now also accept A31 messages for updating patient details distinct from a specific visit. The behaviour is the same as A08 messages.

Adds Visit Number display to the assessment header

To assist in tracking visits between system during reconciliation activities we have made the visit number visible in the portal. This is behind a feature toggle and integrated customers who would benefit from this are being contacted for the purpose of rolling out this feature.

Bug fixes

The following are minor fixes released system-wide as background releases.

  • Automatically removes trailing “.” from some patient links where mobile phones sometimes include them as part of their automatic hyperlink in the invite SMS messages. We expect this to reduce occurrences of patients encountering errors attempting to log in in these scenarios which will improve their experience.
  • Improves session handling in the patient app where users on slow or flaky connections would see a higher than normal rate of error messages requiring them to log in again to resume their questionnaire.
  • Fixes issue where clinicians pressing the Enter key while typing in the global search bar at the top of the clinical portal would dismiss the search results. This no longer happens, the search results popup remains visible.
  • Improves handling of MDM T02 rejections during integrated document export

The following are minor improvements which are in the process of being rolled out behind feature toggles:

  • The create assessment dialog no longer displays contact method options if the assessment template being used includes a workflow that has no default form. In this configuration, the workflow handles the choice of contact method and the choice in the UI was ignored, so it has been removed to avoid confusion.
